COSTUME DESIGNER IN TELEVISION and FILM
Ros has worked extensively across both the theatre and film/TV industry. Her credits include Amazon, BBC, Channel 4, Sky, Starz Play and HBO Max, to name a few.
Ros designs costumes for a wide range of projects in TV, film, commercials, docu/drama and live performances. Recently Ros has designed Nicolas Winding Refn’s The Famous Five for the BBC and Playing Nice, starring James Norton (StudioCanal for ITV). Her passion for creating characters though the clothes they wear, impacts heavily on her design decisions and she enjoys working closely with actors and directors to help these characters come to life.
As the Assistant Designer on high end dramas including The Trial of Christine Keeler (1960’s) The Spanish Princess, Becoming Elizabeth (Tudor) and Doctor Who, Ros has extensive knowledge of how large scale dramas are made. She has setup and run workrooms, has strong relationships with hire houses both in the UK and abroad and puts together brilliant teams.
Ros’s career began as the Costume Standby on teen drama Skins. She has worked her way up through the costume department gaining invaluable experience at all levels. She is a strong Head of Department and exceptional at hitting deadlines and working across all budget levels.
